I have spent a little more time testing out the Thief over the last month then I usually do for a new release. To say that I like it may be a bit of an understatement.

It has the distance of a fairway, and is quite versatile.

The Thief is a new small rimmed fairway driver from Dynamic Discs.
8 Speed, 5 Glide, 0 Turn, and 2 Fade.

The numbers don't really do it justice.
I went out and played a few single disc rounds with it at Riverbend North Using it for everything but putting. I played a nice -4 down both times. It had a little trouble getting the distance on the few longer holes, and I was still dialing it in as it beat in a bit on the rocks. I am pretty sure I could go out and play it again and come in 7 under or better.

The disc immediately reminds me of a slightly wider rimmed T-Bird. If you throw with about 80% or less speed it will fly straight, then fade out a bit forward. I would say and easy 200 feet. When you pull it at 100% is where this disc really shines. Overpowering it changes up the flight numbers. That 0 / 2 changes to a little longer -1 / 1 or 2 depending how hard you pull it. After it took a few hits into the rocks it started loosening up a bit. Nice smooth S curves and very predictable.
It feels a lot like an Escape, but I feel it requires a bit more arm to get it to go as long. Either way, it found a place in my bag.

Summer League: 2014 will be going into its 4th week.
So far we have played two weeks of Peregrine Point, and 1 week of Black Butte. Looks like Oroville will be put in the mix for week 4.

I would like to play a few Saturday travel rounds over the last 6 weeks, and I am working on adding a few new side events.

The Enforcer and Scythe arrived a little later in the day then I was expecting.

The Enforcer: Dynamic Discs long distance driver.
Speed: 12 Glide: 4 Turn: 0.5 Fade: 4

The disc I received is a 175g Lucid.
The Enforcer is by the numbers over stable. A positive number in the Turn slot, followed with a pretty deep 4 in the Fade slot. The expectation was for the disc to immediately fade upon release.
Well... It's over stable. Very over stable. It gets some solid distance (250 -300) even though the fade does start early. Its a nice slow fade upon release though. Which is something that can be worked with. A stronger arm then mine would probably love this thing.I didn't really see a lot of difference in flight when thrown into a head wind. It's just to over stable for me.

The Scythe: Latitude64 Distance driver
Speed: 12 Glide: 3 Turn: 0 Fade: 4

After throwing this disc about a good 15 times, I will say I like it. Its a solid over stable disc that handles the wind well. In a head wind it picks up and glides. With no wind thrown on an anhyzer it will get a nice long flex. (300+) A stronger arm would probably use it for hyzer bombs all day long.
